Pikes Peak ATD's Collaboration Hour #3: Join Us!

The screenshot above, while slightly different in appearance than our conversations, captures the calm, intimate atmosphere of geographically distributed professionals who are sharing expertise and learning with each other.

Pikes Peak ATD's upcoming collaboration hour, facilitated by Barbara Maroney and Kitty Wooley, will present you with a similar opportunity.  Whether you'd like to continue the June program's "ID vs. Trainer" discussion, hear a recap of trends presented earlier in the day at PPCC, or talk through a thorny workplace challenge, give this forum a try.  At the same time, you'll broaden your professional network and explore the potential of conversational video to move your organization ahead of the curve.

    GROUND RULES

You can ask anything, share anything and we will all agree to:

    1. keep things confidential

    2. be mindful in critiques – not critical

    3. be respectful of other’s ideas

Pikes Peak ATD collaboration hours are not recorded.

    NO REGISTRATION

Registration has been disabled for this video conversation - just show up. Please use your full name during setup instead of an alias. Or, please hold up a notecard with your full name.

HOW TO JOIN THE VIDEO CALL

Join from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android: https://zoom.us/j/622796193

First-time attendees must hit the link in advance to do a small, one-time install. After the install is complete, you may enter the "room" any time between now and 5 PM that day to check that your videocam, mic, and speakers are enabled. Once you're there, simply mouse over the icons at bottom left. Clicking on the mic or videocam icon toggles it off and on. Stay unmuted if it's quiet at your end.

Collaboration hour is more effective and fun when we can see each other. If you don't have a webcam, download the free app and use your mobile device.

Need help? Email kittywooley5@gmail.com or call or text Kitty at 703-628-4779 and she will get back to you ASAP. See you soon!

It is a long hot summer!  Take a break from the heat on Pikes Peak ATD.

On Sunday, August 12th, we have a reservation for Whirlyball

Never heard of Whirlyball?  It's a combination of bumper cars - called Whirlybugs, scoops, and whiffle balls.  How many points can you make before you get your bumper bumped?

The Colorado Springs location also has bowling available for future dates.

Come in out of the heat, meet up with your peers, and eat some pizza. There is a bar onsite for those interested in adult libations.  Too much fun not to share?  Bring your spouse or teenage children (sorry, you have to pay for them).

    Members - FREE

    Non-Members and Guests - $35.00 each

Before you need to get the kiddos ready for school, let's have some fun.  Good food, good conversations, good times :) More details below.
