Creating Motivated and Accountable Learners
All training professionals have at some point experienced disengaged and even sometimes hostile students. In this session, participants will explore concepts from "The Motivational Crux" from the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers in light of the classroom, and beyond. The focus will be on looking at what motivates participants, and then how to identify ways to engage and motivate them to not only learn, but to leave a session and take action!
In this lively discussion, Lisa will creatively observe how instructors can hold themselves and others accountable to have true knowledge transfer. This includes how to create game plans for using the tools and steps for follow up, the most powerful tool in the motivational crux. Come ready to have some fun, and walk with ideas you can put into immediate use as either a designer or facilitator of learning!
