YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT:
Join Pikes Peak ATD on December 1st for a special luncheon session at La Bella Vita Ristorante. This is our chance to give back to YOU, our members, by hosting an elegant meal that offers “elevated Italian offerings with old-world charm,” while also giving you the chance to network with other members and to learn about local and international pro bono opportunities.
Think of this session as one more tool in your toolbox that you can use to support your – or your employees’ – personal and professional development.
Volunteering can boost your career and turbo-charge your skill sets – it also allows you to try out new areas of expertise to see if they’re a fit for you. In addition, volunteering gives you opportunities to acquire career experience faster, and in different areas, than you may be able to in your current workplace.
Pikes Peak ATD is bringing together a broad range of organizations (to fit a variety of interests and skill sets) to share information about volunteer opportunities and how they can be used to develop skills such as:
- Problem Solving
- Public Speaking
- Project Management
Pro Bono and Volunteerism is a great no-cost tool to support your own and your colleagues’ or employees’ professional development and engagement while also helping you to contribute to your community and increase the visibility of your company.
Join Pikes Peak ATD, Red Cross, Care and Share, El Paso County, City of Colorado Springs, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure South Colorado as they share information about volunteer opportunities in our community. REMEMBER: This is also a great opportunity to network with other members and discuss your professional development goals for 2016!
Price is $25 for members and $35 for non-members
All Inclusive Members are FREE.
